Of course I immediately saw possibilities...
And dragged the stuff home, along with a free chicken feeder she was giving away.
Well whatever these two iron things are, they worked perfectly for hen and chicks. My husband thinks they are some kind of vintage pulleys.
I had a little spot under the tree that I thought might work for the biggest, neatest part of the sharpener. I cleared out a little spot for it by moving a few sedums.
It was convenient that I had just bought this $2 pail yesterday at garage sales.
Kmart had this $5.99 basket of red impatiens that looked pretty healthy.

Wow! Love the 'junk' and how you used it in your yard. I love planting in unusual containers!
Lucky you, I love what you did with it!
Free junk is always good, but when it is family pieces and you can create with it...it is fantastic!
It looks perfect under the shade of that tree. Good junk!!!
You did a great job...I just can't second guess you! LOL! You are vignette diva!

I love your new garden additions. Your sedums look wonderful and a great contrast to the iron. I love how you used the items I know your Aunt will be happy. The feeder is a keeper. I am coming over from Southern Hospitality party, drop by for a visit. Kathy
