Primping My Bike For Fall

If you followed my blog over the summer you have seen my white spray painted vintage bike.

Today I primped my bike for autumn.

The dried plant in the watering can sitting in the bike's basket is my Baby Tut grass. Also in the basket are assorted gourds and mini pumpkins.

A couple large pumpkins in galvanized buckets, a sign and a daisy round out my display.

The bike will be going in the shed in about a month. Before our looooooonnnnnnnggggg Minnesota winter!

This is just plain adorable! I can see it with Santa on it also for winter...but I guess all that cold and snow isn't good for the bike!

Very nice Carlene, it is so festive. I was in Mn. once in February and I know how cold it gets up there. I live in Georgia where doesn't snow very often.

Carlene, I love your old bike. I have one that someone painted pink some decades ago! I can't figure out how a pink bike can be spruced up for Fall, but maybe some white pumpkins would work. Thanks for the inspiration! Jean

It looks darling! I have a very similar bike and have been tempted to paint it, but just couldn't decide whether to do it or not, but yours looks wonderful in all seasons!

Hi Carlene: Bike looks great. You were so lucky to find a girls bike. Good idea to put it up for the winter, I've left mine (boys) out during the past two winters and it has taken it's toll on it. It's going inside this year..Happy Thursday..Judy

Your bike display is perfect for this time of year! I don't even want to think of what's coming. Did you have snow last Friday, too?

Your bike is so cute. I have been looking for one, too...an olden one, like yours. I had a 10 speed but gave it to one of the grands to use for going from class to class on the college campus.
I love how you have it all decorated..and I see fall leaves there. Ours here in West Texas are still green. :)

Love this look! After seeing your bike earlier in the year, I've tried to find one that didn't cost an arm and a leg. So far, I haven't found one but not giving up the hunt! I just love the way you use yours!
