New Powder Room Collectibles

Last Sunday I went to visit my Mom, and she gave me these three vintage vanity jars.

The one on the left is a hinged alabaster jar that was made in Italy.  The two on the right are clear glass bottomed, screw on covered jars.  I have added them to my vanity jar collection in my vintage-style bathroom.

Of course the lovely lady is also a vanity jar marked Gold Crown, Japan.

More vanity jars...

And powder tins on the the other side of the sink.

Such a pretty display! I thought of you on Saturday as rushed past one yard sale to get to another. At the one I passed and didn't stop at, I saw something that looked like one of those lady heads you have. I'm not sure what this one really was and I just couldn't stop. I didn't have time. They just had a bunch of clothes out and I didn't want to spend the time to get out just to see that one head. Of course I should have and now I regret my haste. Figures.
